ONE LINE
Tally Hoops is a basketball shot tracker for Apple Watch and iPhone that logs every make and miss and shows players what makes them shoot better.

SHORT
Tally Hoops is a basketball shot tracker built for Apple Watch. Players log makes and misses with the Digital Crown or Double Tap without breaking rhythm, while heart rate, calories and time record as a workout. The iPhone app turns every session into records, streaks, drills and trends, including the heart rate where a player's shot starts to fade.

LONG
Tally Hoops is a basketball shot tracker for players who practice on their own. On Apple Watch, a session is a native workout: players log each make and miss with the Digital Crown, Double Tap or a long press, and heart rate, calories and duration go to Health automatically. Live session faces race a player's best session, count down to a record, or show the last ten shots at a glance. On iPhone, hands-free Assist Mode logs shots by voice, and every session feeds personal records, streaks, drills, goals and a Fatigue Cliff chart that shows the heart rate where accuracy drops. An AI coach built on Apple's Foundation Models writes session recaps and training plans from the player's own history. There are no accounts and no ads; data stays on the device and in the player's private iCloud. Tally Hoops is free on the App Store in 23 languages, with an optional Premium tier.

FEATURES
- Built for the wrist: A session on Apple Watch is a native workout. Log makes and misses with the Digital Crown, Double Tap or a long press, without looking at the screen. Heart rate, calories and time go to Health.
- Live session faces: Nine faces read a session while it happens: Ghost Race runs against your best session, Chase counts down to a record, Last Ten shows your recent shots, Stopwatch tracks your pace to 10, 25 and 50.
- Fatigue Cliff: Every shot is tagged with your heart rate, so Tally Hoops can show the heart rate where your accuracy falls off. On the watch, a Fatigue Cliff Alert taps your wrist when you've been past it.
- Hands-free on iPhone: Assist Mode listens for "make" and "miss" so players without a watch can log a session with the phone on the sideline.
- Records, drills and goals: Personal records for streaks, accuracy and speed, a drill library with a builder, practice goals, achievements, and shareable session cards.
- An AI coach with no account: Session recaps, coaching insights and training plans are written with Apple's Foundation Models from your own session history: on the device, or through Apple's Private Cloud Compute on iOS 27 if you allow it. No sign-up, and no server of ours.
- Private by design: No accounts, no ads, no ad tracking. Sessions sync through the player's private iCloud.
- In 23 languages: The app and its App Store page are localized in 23 languages, including right-to-left Arabic and Hebrew.

NEWS
- Opening Week Goal (October 20 – November 3, 2026, upcoming): An App Store In-App Event for the start of the basketball season: a ready-made goal to shoot on five days of opening week. Free for every player, it counts any session however it's logged, reminds players on the day they need to shoot to stay on pace, and ends with a shareable card of the week.
- Tally Hoops 3.11: Film Room and iPhone Duo (October 14, 2026, released): Film Room, part of Premium, puts a chapter on a session video for every shot the player logged, marked make or miss, and cuts their longest run of makes into a shareable clip. Tally Hoops is ready for iPhone Duo: stood half-open courtside, Record films on the standing half with the controls on the flat half, and the outer display becomes a scoreboard. On Apple Watch, the streak ring is now ten segments, and Assist Mode's voice control hears "make" and "miss" far more reliably in a noisy gym.
- Tally Hoops 3.10: Splits Lab and Rest & Shooting (September 28, 2026, released): Splits Lab, part of Premium, breaks a player's shooting down by day, time, session length, court, sleep and the day before, and names a best condition only when the difference holds up. Rest & Shooting shows last night's sleep, HRV and resting heart rate beside what the player shot, and a new effort rating on Apple Watch saves to Health and counts toward Training Load.
- Tally Hoops 3.09: new Apple Watch faces (September 18, 2026, released): Eight new session faces, including Ghost Race, Chase, Last Ten, Stopwatch and Heart Rate, plus a face gallery and swipeable session pages that players arrange themselves.

ABOUT THE DEVELOPER
Tally Hoops is built by one developer who loves playing basketball and wants more people to enjoy it as exercise, even if they never play a game. It has been on the App Store since 2018, and its developer has logged more than 30,000 shots with it. The app turns every session into a chase for personal bests, and it's shaped by practicing in crowded gyms, where setting up a phone to film yourself isn't an option, so logging lives on the wrist.
